How to use the online catalogue

We’ve already introduced you to our new warehouse organisation (see post Evolution of Organisation from 8 April) and now we are super excited to introduce you to our online stock catalogue.

Where is it?
You can find the catalogue under the ‘Prop Hire’ tab on our website or directly at

What are those yellow tags?

When an item is added to the catalogue, it is assigned a number. These numbers are unique to each item but if there are multiples – a set of chairs, for example – then we give them all the same number and attach bright yellow tags to the catalogued props. The numbers help us and you find specific items in the catalogue.

How does the search function work?

For general browsing, click on any of the categories. If you’re unsure of what you need, then these are great for getting started.

For more targeted searches, try the search box. We suggest one of three ways: keywords, dates or styles.
Keywords could relate to a prop’s material, colour, use, location or related geography. For example, metal, green, health, living room or Canada.
Or try putting in a date. Specific days and years aren’t often in a record, but decades, centuries or eras are. For example, 1960s, 60s, 20th or medieval.
Finally, some items are associated with a style of art or design – Art Deco, for example – so you may have some luck using those terms.

How can I hire items I found in the catalogue?
Make a note of the numbers and give the Titan office a call 0141 427 2871 or an email

I don’t see what I’m looking for.
It’s possible as only some of our stock is catalogued. We’re working on getting more and more content into the system so please be patient, but in the meantime, give us a call and ask as it might just not be in the catalogue yet.
